Meet our leadership team
After a promising start as an attorney, Louis decided that law was too narrow, so he moved to Berkeley where he got his MBA before joining McKinsey to live the consulting dream. After a few years of dreaming, he joined Uber where he led Operations for France. Finding problems and solving them for companies has always been his calling and he can finally bring it to life with Opsima. After 8 years in San Francisco and Sydney, he is now back to Paris.
After graduating from Polytechnique engineering school, Fabien did a side step into strategy consulting with Bain, before realizing his true calling for the world of data and entrepreneurship. He spent 8 years at Google and Qonto and created 3 companies over the last 5 years. He now strives to put his data skills to use by ensuring that every Opsima customer gets the most optimized rates from their cloud providers. He spent 5 years in Australia before moving back to France in Annecy.
With his engineering degree from Telecom SudParis in hand, Alex started to build his path to CTO by building experiences in IT consulting, large corporations and startups. His well rounded and diverse experience made him witness first hand the rise and challenges the cloud was bringing to the world. After 5 years in Australia, Alex now continues to enjoy a sunny climate in Marseille.

Thomas Jacques brings over 20 years of experience at the intersection of technology, media, and digital transformation, with a strong background as a Group CTO and CIO leading large-scale cloud, AI, and infrastructure programs.
As Group CTO & CIO at TF1, Thomas oversaw the company’s technology, IT, and data operations during a major digital transformation, managing a €150M budget and a 700-person ecosystem. He led TF1’s move-to-cloud initiative, re-engineering over 80 legacy systems to cloud-native architectures on Microsoft Azure, while also driving innovation in AI, cybersecurity, and adtech modernization.
Earlier in his career at Google, he played a key role in scaling the company’s adtech and programmatic businesses across EMEA, driving triple-digit growth and building high-performing international teams.
Today, as Partner and Co-Founder at Darwill, Thomas advises executive teams on cloud strategy, digital operations, and technology-driven transformation. His strategic and hands-on experience as both a CTO and advisor makes him a key contributor to Opsima’s mission of optimizing cloud efficiency and value creation.

Adam Surak is a seasoned engineering leader with deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, security, and platform scalability. Over the past decade, he has led engineering and infrastructure teams at some of Europe’s fastest-growing tech companies, helping them operate at global scale.
As VP of Engineering, Infrastructure & Security at Algolia, Adam built and scaled a 50+ person organization supporting 1.5 trillion search queries annually for 500 million users, while driving major advances in security, reliability, and cost efficiency. Later, as Head of Platform at BeReal, he led platform, SRE, and security functions — cutting cloud costs by 50%, reducing incidents by 20x, and rearchitecting systems to handle >4 Tbps traffic spikes.
Currently Senior Director of Engineering at Tools for Humanity, Adam oversees infrastructure, security, and IT in a fast-evolving AI and blockchain environment. He also acts as an angel investor and mentor, supporting early-stage startups in infrastructure and security.
His track record of combining technical depth with strategic impact makes Adam a key advisor to Opsima’s mission of driving efficient, resilient, and scalable cloud operations.

Roland Esnis is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with a strong track record in cloud services, AWS-based consulting, and transformation strategy. As co-founder of Gekko, an AWS-specialized cloud services company, he built deep technical and consulting expertise in public cloud migration, infrastructure operations, and DevOps automation. His leadership in Gekko contributed to its recognition as an AWS Advanced Partner and strong capabilities in cloud storage, training, and managed services.
Beyond cloud technical delivery, Roland has steered strategic growth and operations in consulting and finance sectors, bringing experience in scaling companies, handling cloud-related acquisitions, and aligning cloud capability with business transformation needs.
His dual strength in business strategy and cloud technical depth combines to make him a valuable advisor for Opsima’s mission to optimize cloud infrastructure, drive cost efficiency, and ensure scalable, secure infrastructures aligned with business goals.
